Welcome back to our B2BeeMembers series. Today, we have something a little different for you: our very first vlog! In it, we introduce you to Louis Barnett. And, trust us, you want to meet him. This not-quite-thirty-year-old business consultant and speaker from the United Kingdom has one sweet story of how he went from child chocolatier to millennial business guru!
When Louis was eleven years old, he started making chocolates at his parents’ kitchen table. Fast forward a few years, and Louis was running a successful chocolate company called Chokolit—later, Louis Barnett Chocolates. He was the youngest entrepreneur ever to supply Sainsbury’s and Waitrose (two prominent UK supermarket chains), and suddenly he was being asked to speak to audiences about being a successful young entrepreneur. In a few short years, he went from addressing small business groups in the Midlands to some of the world’s largest international corporations. Finally, in 2015, he set aside the chocolate business and moved into business consulting and speaking full time.
Louis took some time away from wowing webinar crowds and completely redesigning his website to share his entrepreneurial journey and leave us with some tasty insights to chew on. Hear Louis’ story in his own words, learn about the challenges and opportunities of pivoting or completely changing your business, find out why 2021 has been Louis’ busiest consulting and speaking year yet, and discover what you need to know to be successful in today’s marketplace—no matter what you’re selling.
